1. RootsTech 2013 video stream

RootsTech conference, held in Utah during February 2013, has provided video streams of the conference proceedings.

If the only thing that you do in your genealogy this month is watch at least one part of this video, you will have gained an insight to where things are heading in the genealogy world. The Future of Genealogy is worth looking at....

There are two great sessions worth a look - the first being a presentation by Josh Taylor in the opening session which is an indicator of things to come for the use of technology in the family history world. Turn your sound and speakers on - use the time slider to go to around 1:05:00 for Josh's session. The second is a panel discussion on "The Future of Genealogy" - Thomas MacEntee hosts a panel featuring: Lisa Louise Cooke, Daniel Horowitz, Dick Eastman, Alan Philips (Gould Genealogy Australia), Dear MYRTLE, & Josh Taylor. Move the time slider to 2:25:00.

All sessions are available in the daily recaps, go here: RootsTech 2013
