FHWA volunteers have worked to create indexes to Western Australian (WA) records and publish a variety of resources.
1. Projects
These projects have resulted in unique Western Australian records becoming readily available to the public for the first time.
Continuing projects include
- Births, deaths (1906-2020) and marriages (1897-2020) indexes - from the West Australian newspaper.Reunions and
- Can You Help? (1988-2020) – entries from the West Australian newspaper
- Index of Meads Funeral Directors’ records
- Honour boards and memorials
The Projects Team is also converting the data, previously provided on microfiche and CD by FHWA, to digital format.
Various other projects are also being undertaken, including those by FHWA Special Interest Groups and Affiliated Societies.
We always need Volunteers and with many of our projects you can work from home, and don’t always need a computer. The Projects Team also welcomes suggestions for future projects.
