Descendants of William Henry COOk and Mary Gilbert COOK nee GREGORY have multiplied and moved from Moonta SA to be widely dispersed around Australia. A section of the family is in Melbourne, another in Canberra, a couple went to Broken Hill and a significant number followed the gold rush to the Eastern Goldfields around Kalgoorlie.

Contact has been made with nearly all living descendants and the graves of many past family members have been photographed by my cousin. He is currently in the Eastern States touring up the coast to north Queensland.

Mary died in Moonta is buried in the Moonta Cemetery. William joined some of his family in Boulder where he died and is buried in Boulder Cemetery.

My cousin and I want to complete the family tree by locating all branches and twigs in Australia.

Additionally, help is needed on researching the COOK family in Cornwall, around the Gwithian district. If you can help, post a reply in the forum and I will contact you.
