New on the Web:

Find My Past now has over 3 million crime and punishment records for England and Wales for years between 1770 and 1935.  You can find where criminals stood trial, what sentence they received and what their life was like in prison.  You can also find physical descriptions and my find photographs, if they were executed or transported and even read official correspondence about their case as well as petitions sent by the accused and their friends to have sentences reduced.

Extra categories of records are being added each week.
