A morning tea will be held on Tuesday 18 October to celebrate the 30th celebration.jpganniversary of the purchase of Unit 5 in 1986!

The morning tea is by invitation only with a number of early WAGS members and local dignitaries invited.  We would appreciate help serving the morning tea.  Please contact Liana  if you can help

The exhibition will also be in two other locations in WA: Bunbury, Eaton Recreation Centre: 11th -16th January 2017 & Kalgoorlie Goldfields Oasis: 30th January - 5th February 2017

Topic: Outing to Fremantle; Meet at the Old Tram in the Esplanade Park at 11.30am. BYO Lunch. Afterwards we will walk to view convict buildings. For those who do not wish to meet for lunch, the Departure Time for the walk will be 1pm, meeting at the Shipwreck Museum on Cliff St.

 Keeping records of stock.
 Ordering stock.
 Posting orders.
 Reporting to management.           

The WAGS bookshop includes the following categories:  Specials, Australasia, Book & Journals, CD's and Microfiche, Charts, Genealogy Software, Getting Started, Gift Ideas, Maritime, Military, Photography, WAGS Products, and Western Australia.

Cheap Certificates

There are over 3,600 names indexed.

The donated certificates are original (not photocopies). They have either been ordered in error or are not wanted. Included are BIRTH, MARRIAGE & DEATH Certificates, unwanted WILLS or ADMONS (Administrations) and Certificates of BAPTISM.

The certificates may be obtained from WAGS for a donation of $5. Contact the Librarian.

Workshop - Ancestry

This workshop is hands on and is limited to 10 people. Ian Simon will demonstrate the resources available on Ancestry and how to navigate the site. This will be followed-up by hands-on practice searching for your ancestors.

This introductory course provides you with all the information to get started, from how to access birth, death and marriage records, to finding relevant records. Includes instructions on how to record your findings along with some useful websites to further your research.

FREE for members, but bookings required.
