Topic: A short AGM will be followed by a presentation by Peter Hamersley on “Tracing Living Relatives-some unusual BDM records” and also a look at some lesser used websites such as archive.org to show what they offer, using some of our counties as examples.

Membership Renewals

We have had a very strong flow of membership renewal payments in March and April. However, there are still around 500 members who are due to renew but haven't yet done so. Renewals can be made online by credit card, paypal or direct debit (WAGS, Bendigo Bank BSB: 633 00 Acct: 122966856 - please include your name and membership number.) or by the traditional method using credit card, cheque or cash. If you are not sure when your renewal is due, check the address sheet of your last journal or your member's page online.
Email Membership if you need a new password or you just want to check when you are due.

The raffle book allocation lists will be produced in early July in preparation for this years annual raffle book mail out.

Members are reminded to update their raffle book numbers on members profile by logging into the WAGS web page with your user name and password. You only need to do this if you want to change the number of books you receive.

Getting Started with Your Family Treegetting

This introductory course provides you with all the information to get started, from how to access birth, death and marriage records, to finding relevant records. Includes instructions on how to record your findings along with some useful websites to further your research.
