WAGS Military SIG - is up and running, a new committee is working on the details with the inaugural meeting to be held on Saturday 20 February 2016 at 1:30 to 3:30. It is planned to hold quarterly meetings on the third Saturday of the month(s); the others in 2016 being 21 May, 20 August and 19 November.

The end of the raffle is not very far away.
If you have not already done so, can you send in both your unsold books & sold ticket butts and monies to WAGS.

All WAGS Annual Raffle books are required to be returned and received at
WAGS by 5pm, MONDAY NOVEMBER 10th to comply with our Raffle licence and to
have the tickets entered into the draw.

Congratulations to Ms Helen Pianta of South Hedland on winning the $300 Early Bird draw.

Following on from the June Genie Chatter "Dos and Don'ts of writing your family history" everyone was motivated and encouraged to write a small article about someone or something from their family history research.  Have you written an article?  You still have time!  Bring along your article (it doesn't have to be long) and share it with others. Even if you weren't at the earlier session or haven't written an article you are welcome to come along.

websites we are now back up and running - new format, similar look and feel
mix of old (still coming) and new articles on Blog and 11th Btn sites.

Together 100 years Apart - WAGS 11th Battalion Exhibition at John Curtin
Gallery will be open until 15th November only - So last closing in on your
chance to get along and have a look at the 6.1M x 10.2M photograph in the
