WAGS will again have a display in the Hall of Fame Building at the Royal

Discover some fantastic New Zealand websites and share your research with others.


Can you spare a few hours a day, a week or a month?

Many of the education and activity courses are run by volunteers, as well
as administration jobs and social occasions which also need a hand.  Some
are weekly, others monthly or less frequently. Some of these positions can
also be shared.

Below are listed the positions that need volunteers urgently!

Volunteer Coordinator
Seek, and liaise with potential volunteers. Organise Volunteer Morning
Teas. Various other associated duties.

Book Shop Officer
Ordering and preparing book orders
(requires computer experience)

All volunteers are given training and guidance where needed.

can provide more information about the position.

Family History Societies

Rockingham Family History Society
Saturday, 5 at 2pm
Topic:  Special Guest Speaker, David Whiteford from the State Records
Office will speak about Family History In The State Archives.

Getting started can be confusing so come along to these FREE workshops.

Come along and find out how to use the Digital Scanner at WAGS.

The cost is $5 and is payable on the day. There is an attendance limit of 6
