Chris Loudon 2013After almost a decade in the role, Chris Loudon is stepping down as Webmaster, a position he has occupied since 2008.

Chris’s contribution to WAGS has been extraordinary. He has not only maintained and expanded the WAGS website over this lengthy period but has also been the Society’s IT Co-ordinator and social media advisor as well as the instigator and project leader of the 11th Battalion Cheops Project. During this time he has also provided wise and knowledgeable counsel to Management on a range of issues.

Under his direction, the WAGS website has won several Federation of Family History Society awards and in 2015, Chris was made a Life Member of WAGS in recognition of his exceptional service.

Our sincere thanks to Chris for his sustained and significant commitment to the Society and our best wishes for his future endeavours.

Anne Giles and Lorna McLean have jointly taken on the role of Webmaster and we thank them for committing to this important position.
