Guest speaker - Trevor Tough from Outback Graves

Trevor will inform us about their project - To record details and tell the stories of the inhabitants of these graves and record them on an internet based database as well as produce and install permanent aluminium marker plaques on outback graves that are in poor condition.

Ellen Moher is but one of the many heartbreaking stories from the Western Australian bush history, see Stories from the Graves at the Outback graves website.

Ellen Moher died 25 November 1885 aged about 34 years at Mt Anderson, Fitzroy River. The informant was Thomas H Lovegrove MRCSE, Government Resident and Coroner for the District of Kimberley. She was the wife of Thomas Moher and "... died from the effects of shock consequesnt upon a beating at the hands of her husband.... [and] the wicked neglect of her husband..."
