The Western Australian Special Interest Group has a great treat in store for this coming Saturdays meeting. 

Marjorie Bly, Assistant Director of the NAA Perth will be speaking about the WWI records available in the National Archives. Shannon Lovelady, WAGS member and manager of the Gallipoli Dead project will bring us up to date on progress of this great WA project. Register if you want to; Login & go here ->> WASIG Meeting

Marjorie will cover WWI records available at the Archives, including Pay records, Repatriation records and Mapping our Anzacs website. There will also be an opportunity to ask Marjorie questions about other items held by the National Archives.

Shannon will cover heaps of information on the Gallipoli War Dead Project, what is happening with other states involvement, and what has been found, or not found so far.

A meeting not to be missed, starts at 10:00.
