Western Front Dead from Western Australia - Check list
(List updated & current @ 22:30 22 October 2017)
The Western Front Dead from Western Australia project (WFDWA) is the second 'Dead from Western Australia' project supported by WAGS which has been proposed, led and administered by Shannon Lovelady. This project commenced in January 2016. See further notes below table.
As the Gallipoli Dead from Western Australia project determined how many West Australians died as a result of their Gallipoli service, WFDWA will determine the number of West Australian lives lost on the Western Front, including those killed in action or who died (anywhere) from sickness contracted or wounds sustained there, up to 31 August 1921. Until now, that number is an estimation only - 45,000-110,000 from all around Australia. Each States' figure is unknown.
