Just found a bit on my Talbot line at this site http://www.dippam.ac.uk/
John Noble Talbot was an excise clerk in Dublin (surely an unenviable job, rooting out all the sly groggers) and his evidence is recorded here.
Site is hard to work. Click on Scan or (better) Transcript button and find new scroll bar and roll down.
