TOPIC: Topic of our upcoming ISIG meeting

Topic of our upcoming ISIG meeting 07 Oct 2018 05:23 #1903

Next Irish SIG meeting is coming up, Sunday 21st at 2pm. Visitors and new members welcome.
We will be looking at one of the under utilised free resources for Irish genealogy which has recently been added to the online site, FamilySearch. The Registry of Deeds microfilms. 1000s of films with millions of names dating from 1708, although un-indexed these records have been useful for some intrepid hunters
See you there

Thanks Cheryl
I look forward to your talk as I haven't been game enough to go down this path. There are WAGS Members who would say that Family Search is the site of first choice for their research these days .
